Children's Hour
The Children's Hour meets nearly every Sunday during services. Children three to twelve are very welcome to attend. We listen to Bible stories, sing songs, do crafts and learn about Danish traditions. We try to speak and/or sing a little Danish. During November and December the children take part in the Lucia pageant and the Christmas play. We have a good time learning and playing together and by our involvement get to feel a vital part of the church family in Toronto.

Church Cafe
The Church Cafe meets every Tuesday at noon until 2:30. You are very welcome to join us whether occasionally or each Tuesday.By attending often you get to know your fellow members. We enjoy lunch together, sing Danish and English songs, share jokes, celebrate birthdays, hear about the latest events in the church and Danish events in Toronto and we end the afternoon with a game of cards or a game of dice. Our members take turns providing lunch and the rest of the members pay the nominal fee of $2.00.
Golden Age Club
The senior club of the Danish church, Guldalderklubben, was established in the seventies and is still very active. The club has more than one hundred members, the average attendance for the meetings is between 60 and 80.
We meet at 12.00 noon the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from September to June.
At each meeting a nice $5 lunch consisting of open face sandwiches and a piece of cake, often wienerbrød, is served. We always sing good old Danish songs and often have special guests to entertain. Sometimes we have talks about topics that concerns the life of Seniors: health, finances, retirement problems etc. We also like to socialize and therefore often invites entertainers to come: for instance choirs, accordion and guitar players. Often we have a sing-along and sometimes a bingo afternoon. Twice a year we go on a bus trip.
Language is English.
Come and meet with other Danes and have a good time. New members are always welcome, please contact Else Staal Nielsen for further information.

Bazaars
We have two unique bazaars each year. One in the spring and one in the fall. Both are major fund raising events for our church.
Many people help in various ways to make the bazaars the success they are. Good quality donations are always appreciated.

Danish Folk Dancers of Toronto
