Thanksgiving Service - Høstgudstjeneste

October 11th we celebrate thanksgiving in our church. This day we have special guests from Denmark  visiting us: "Hvidovre Musikskoles Brass Band".

We start with a traditional thanksgiving service at 10.30 am, where the Brass Band also participates. After the church service the Brass Band will treat us to a small concert. Finally we will gather in The Royal Hall and eat homemade spaghetti sauce.

Hvidovre Musikskole Brass Band consists of 24 enthusiastic children and youth between 9 and 21 years old. The conductor of the orchestra is Bjørn Hyrup, who also conducts "Tivoli Promenadeorkester". The Brass Band plays a mixed repertoire of brass band music and is at the moment going through a rapid musical development. Over the years the Brass Band has been traveling all over Europa. This fall they are coming to Canada. We look forward to their visit at our church.
