SUNDAY, JUNE 21ST at 6:30pm

This year we will begin with a short evening service at 6.30PM. At both the service and the rest of the evening children are very welcome.

After the service strawberries and ice cream will be served in the Garden (weather permitting). At dusk the traditional Skt. Hans programme will commence, which includes the “bonfire” as well as “fællessang” in the summer night.

The highlight of the evening will be the draw of the lucky winners of our Summer Lottery, which takes place at 8PM.

We suggest you bring your own lawn chairs.

The Danish Lutheran Church Choir is proud to announce their Spring Concert on

Friday, June 12 at 7:30pm

in the sanctuary, featuring a diverse mix of folk songs, sacred works, and spirituals. Our choir will be joined by the choral ensemble toronto Chamber Voices, a seven-voice choir singing everything from renaissance madrigals to pop songs. To round out the evening of song and fellowship, a reception will follow down stairs.

We look forward to seeing you and your friends on June 12!

Joy perfoms a lovely dance for the guests

Last Saturday evening we celebrated our annual Royal Dinner (Dronningemiddag) in honour of Queen Margrethe's 69th birthday. It was a wonderful evening with good food (Roast Beef dinner) and great entertainment (choir singing, ballet dancing, solo bassoonist). We were brought up to date on Danish international relations by Counsel General Arne Nordtorp, managed to sing a few favourite Danish homeland songs, and even acknowledged our own "Queen for a day" Rigmor Hillerup, who was celebrating her 80th birthday.

Special thanks to our entertainers (Joy, Kiera, Mark, and the Choir), the confirmation servers, the fantastic kitchen crew, the decoration team, and, of course, to all 112 of our participants, including guests from the Royal Danish Guards Association, and the Federation of Danish Associations.
