Church Nativity Play
We have our Church Nativity Play coming up on the 27th December at 10:30am and we need lots of participants in order to make the play a great success!
We need young children for the angels and shepherds and also adults to be behind the scenes to help get children into their costumes and for costume changes. Rehearsals are on Sunday 13th and Sunday 20th December after the church service at approximately 11:45am and will last no longer than one hour.
For further information, or to express your interest, even if you cannot make both rehearsals, please contact Karen Jensen at karjen02@yahoo.ca
We look forward to seeing you there!
Opportunity Knocks
For those of you who visited our NEW DANISH IMPORT BOOTH at the Christmas Bazaar this year, here is your OPPORTUNITY to make requests for our next shipment.
We are also looking for feedback on items sold this time around.
At the moment there is a suggestion to have an English translation handy for recipes on the back of bread mixes and any other mixes we might pick up.
So don't be shy, we are hoping to expand our IMPORT BOOTH in the Spring and would like to cater to as many supporters as possible!
If you have any ideas you would like us to consider, please don't hesitate to send us an e-mail through our contact page.
Correct time for the Danish Christmas Eve Service!
There was a mistake in the online calendar stating that the time for the Danish Christmas Service was 2.00pm. Please take note of the correct time:
Danish Christmas Eve Service is at 2.30pm (not 2.00pm)

A Festive Bazaar
Thanks to all who supported our Church Bazaar, Saturday November 21. Close to 500 people came through our doors. All volunteers had worked hard to make the booths attractive and the new Danish Imports booth was an overwhelming success. The 800 colourful Danish open-faced sandwiches were sold quickly, leaving some disappointed customers later in the day. Nothing like a good Danish lunch!
A special thank you to those who gave of their time and work, to those who donated articles and to all those who attended and helped us reach a profit of $ 10,000 for our church. We hope to see everyone of you at our Spring Bazaar!
The Bazaar Committee, Lisbet Mackenzie, Gurli Ahlgreen, and Liselotte Ostergaard.

JULEVÆRKSTED – CHRISTMAS WORKSHOP - SATURDAY NOVEMBER 28, 2 PM – 5 PM
Christmas is the season of many traditions and again this year we will gather to share and enjoy some of the good, old Danish one.
We will weave Danish Christmas hearts and make stars, cut “Kravlenisser”, make “konfekt”, “vride klejner”, bake “pebernødder” and make “Juledekorationer”. There will be helpers at all booths to show you or remind you how it is all done.
